Theory of Flaw
These two abstract towers illustrates my Theory of Flaw, in arts. “Flaw” is a calculated feature which brings artwork to the edge of falling apart. That keeps attention to artwork, makes it fascinating. Effect of flaw differs from basic contradiction between form, colour or essence, which are necessary to create harmonious piece: flaw is expressed in very dramatic way, catching eye by its presence. Although, in difficult composition it may be hardly visible by eye, but not by mind. You will return to the artwork with flaw over again because it’s perfect only when it’s on the verge of destruction.
The right tower is loosing stability; the ball on its top is going to fall in the next moment. Quite a quirky situation, isn’t it?
P.S. Time by time I write an articles in my blog in Russian, sometimes about design. I think about starting more serious blog on Blogspot or Wordpress in English. So, to start somehow, to start with less, I will continue writing here.
Have a nice weekend!
Having new vision, I recoloured / refined my series of prints with quotations. They are incredibly amazing now!
I sell these prints on Society S6 Store. Please promote them and tell your friends about this artwork. The world should see such a great art.
